When significant changes are made in a model year such as 07 to 08/09 then the value of the "old" model can vary depending on how the new models are perceived.I bought my 07 because of both price and appearance. I wanted the undertail exhaust and preferred the front end of the 07. Though I like the 08's as well.The performance reviews of teh 08/09 models have been VERY favorable though nearly every article I've read says the bike is ugly.
