zeitgeist57
Hey guys.... I'm looking to chop-saw the cat off of this intermediary pipe on my BMW 318 (pre-OBDII, so no after-cat O2 sensor) but with that wicked 90* bend going in it's not so simple. Does anyone recommend a shop or someone that can cat-delete and retain the length of the pipe, so it's still a bolt on? Or, does anyone have some leftover exhaust bends that I can buy and weld myself? Thanks! http://i.imgur.com/pvuCZ2a.jpg TOP OF THE PIC IS THE HEADER...bottom is the exhaust to the cat-back system. KillJoy
That MIGHT be an easier project ON the car. KillJoy
Green Bastard
I have some extra exhaust pipe in my garage if you want to pick through it and see if you can use some of it. Or I could take that to work and weld a straight pipe on it for you (if you don't mind ugly welds).
