Fiji ST
Is anyone on here an insurance broker, or can recommend someone for me? Wife quit her job with health insurance to pursue going back to school and the plan we picked up as a last-minute thing sucks. Been looking at plans for a week now and my eyes hurt. Could use some guidance/help to make sure I don't screw it up again. Thanks.
Sledhead36
Following this thread. If you come up with anything let me know, since Obamacare has taken over, my premiums have tripled in less than 2 years. It's a shame that our government has created a program to make sure that everybody has health insurance....but almost nobody can afford it anymore. Insurance companies have been given a license to steal. I just talk to a couple of people, who clearly are just above poverty level, and this program should've benefited them most. But even their health insurance has gone up to the point that they can'to afford it! If it's too expensive for them, who exactly was this design for? Has anyone....even the people without jobs or homes benefited from this program?

Has anyone....even the people without jobs or homes benefited from this program? My 58 year old mother has health care for the first time in her life due to the affordable care act. She pays $60/month and has excellent coverage, due to her income. She has never abused health care, she would never answer her phone on a visit. She was excited to get coverage because she wanted the things listed by Kirk. Here is a quote from the other healthcare thread. just an example of who it seems to work for. Turbs3000
C-Mart (craig) does this stuff for a living and would be a great resource. He doesn't actually sell products to individuals, rather companies but knows the industry well enough to probably help guide you.

I sell strategy to companies and do not deal with individuals, but will happily walk you through the process. There are a lot of confusing acronyms and words that mean several things depending on the context. Feel free to PM me and we can get started. If you go through an individual broker they typically get ~$100. Not 100% sure if this comes out of your pocket or Uncle Sam's, but I'd be happy to help you free of charge. Unless you are <250% below the poverty line this stuff is EXPENSIVE. Sledhead - same goes to you. If its individual stuff I can help. If it is business related I can really help. Edit - thank you Turbs for getting that income info. Edited November 18, 2015 by C-Mart
