Brandon
And I don't mean to pile on, but that's exactly what would and must happen in a public school - they are legally obligated to provide accommodations to children with learning disabilities. If she has and IEP, they are bound to those rules, by law...However having a wife of 8 years as a special education teacher I can tell you all about the deficiencies and flat out laziness work arounds other teachers use. If she does not have and IEP, the reg ed teachers who clock watch 7-3 peace out and don't much worry (generalization yes, but frankly fairly true). The problems with school systems are endless, the one direct variable you can control is parenting, and your assertion to help, it is the biggest influence you can have beyond getting into a "good" school. SO the house thing.... Marc's a good dude to goto for a loan if you get to that point, its all he has done for nearly a decade in one form or another. And you're a small business guy, support those on here who support you...well dont look around in this thread other then for Marc. Any new home prospects? Maybe get into a 85% what you want home, and build some equity and sell and find a forever* home in 3-5 years? Look at the long term ROI of the area your shopping, there are shitty spots in both Worthington and Westerville for value, and then there are spots which will retain and increase nicely. Lauren
We looked at two houses in New Albany today, one in Lewis Center and another in Columbus that was ruled out because of location. We also went to the country house but decided it was to small. We are trying to decide between subdivision like you get in New Albany or an acre or two with a country setting. We are both traveling now a lot for work so we will decide and look again after February 20th when we are back in town on a consistent basis.
