Geeesammy
I'm looking for some advice and opinions on a good heat shielding and sound deadening material. I'm thinking about using some on my Supra to keep in cabin noise reasonable and to replace the deadening that has been falling apart on it as well as keep some heat from the transmission tunnel and firewall out without throwing all the gold wrap in my engine bay. Does anyone have any recommendations of a reasonably priced solution that will hold up more than a year or two? I'm trying to avoid a spray in solution, im looking more for a peel and stick. EssFo
I used to use Brown Bread back in the day. It was a lot cheaper than Dynamat and was basically the same thing.
wagner
I would take a look at DEI and see if they have a solution for you. http://www.designengineering.com/ Ray uses their stuff on the car and the wrap works great. We can pull the hood after a pass and work on the car right away without getting burnt. It keeps the heat in check under the hood.
Geeesammy
The DEI floor and tunnel shield stuff looks like something that would be great. Thanks Wagner
Flybye
I just added Eastwood Xmat to the site. It looks like a nice new option. Thinking about grabbing some for myself.
