wagner
This was a neat article I got to do on Mike's new Top Dragster. It was amazing to see how open Jegs was to doing this, working with me, and giving me access to Mike. Hopefully I'll get to do some more stuff like this in the future. http://www.dragzine.com/news/mike-coughlin-unveils-procharger-powered-jegs-top-dragster/
SHIEF
Nice job. Can't wait to see it. That's a low 6 second combo there. Be interesting to see if the F3 will hold up to the peddling. I know the F2 handles it, but only for so long. Abruzzi tossed his F2 I think a couple times last year.

That 526 ci Proline motor is no joke, so they won't have to really smack it to hard to run the number. I know a lot of X275 guys were having problems with Prochargers eating themselves if they spun them to hard.
SHIEF
I know over spinning them will do it. But guys that weren't were blowing them up due to the strength of the trans. and bearings in them by peddling them. Guess the F3 has the strongest trans., and is what was put in the F1x-12. wagner
Just remember those of us small guys who hung out at the track before you were a famous writer I have made it very clear to my media overlords that no matter what I do for them, I will always be a track rat. Hanging out with the "normal" racers and fans is what gives me the true pulse of the sport. Its neat to see all the top level guys, but most of them are very guarded, the guy who built his Ultra Street car in his barn, THAT is the guy who will tell you how much he appreciates the pictures you took and words you wrote. I will say the Jegs people have been amazing and treated me well.
