My mother purchased it for her new house and then it wouldn't fit through the basement doorway. smokin5s Posted June 29, 2016 Author Report Share Posted June 29, 2016 The reviews that I read on lowes site I never experienced from my end. I just didn't like it making the GFCI breaker pop. Anyone not using a GFCI breaker should be fine. In all honestly, I look at it as insurance in case your power goes out, you have something that can pump water out and alert you of a power outage. Most of the negative reviews people either didn't install it right and got air lock, or complained that the backup pump wasn't super strong... ummm it's a backup just in case your power goes out, it's not going to be as strong as the normal pump, but it served me faithfully Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
