hot_wire
Long time no post! I'm back in Columbus for the weekend and want to get my old Miata running again. The car's been sitting for 3 years, and the battery is more-than-dead. Since I'll just be using the car for 4 days, I don't quite want to spend $120 for a new battery at AutoZone. Any chance one of you have a spare laying around your garage that I could buy? Ideally it would be a Miata battery, but I suppose any 12v would do. Located in Clintonville here. Call/text at (312)391-1926 or get me on here.

Chief8one
careful on the height. if its too short/high the tie down will not hold the battery in place.

hot_wire
Hi All, Appreciate your help! Especially those of you with old batteries laying around the garage. The weather was so nice that I got antsy and bought something Thursday afternoon. Fortunately, the kind dudes at Interstate Batteries on Cleveland Ave hooked me up with a refurbished Miata battery for just $39. Sweet deal. Had a great cruise to Hocking Hills today in the sunshine. Amazing that she started on the first crank after 3 years on blocks.
