I'd like to get a Double Din touch screen CD/DVD player for the new DD. I want Bluetooth, and USB and I'd like Android. And backup cam (backing to trailer use) compatibility. I see a bunch of names I've never heard of on Amazon that by stats fill the bill cheaply but I'm sceptable.

Do any of you guys have experience with any? This is my daily so I want it to work but I'm not trying to impress anyone with a 500.00 deck.

I put one of these Android units in my Subi.

Works pretty well.

Now I don't talk through the Bluetooth so I can't comment on that. It has a built in mic and comes with an external mic. Most guys say it works ok.

It boots pretty fast, screen looks good, radio reception isn't that great, but I usually hotspot my cellphone and run internet radio.

The only downside I ran into is it wont allow just any Bluetooth hardware to pair to it. Torque App supposedly works but I hardwired mine through a usb port. But I have a Bluetooth flexfuel dongle and it wont work correctly.

stay away from Windows CE... I'm very unhappy with it as it's slow and honestly blows. It does do the job though.

TBH if the hardware is there for Windows CE to use, then It is actually not that shit. I had an old Windows CE laptop and a RT device with decent hardware and I was fine... Now, I have to admit though that 95% of all CE and RT devices are complete shit. Stay away if you don't know much about hardware.

I've been looking at getting sound through a couple of my older vehicles using a hidden/under-dash-mounted unit:

I'd warn against too many functions (bluetooth, backup camera screen) through a single, cheaper headunit - too many reasons for UI to not function properly in the long run. Have you looked at a standalone backup camera solution?:
