2005 Subaru WRX STI. Built by Phoenix Racing in 2005 for Touring 2. Car was last raced at the Run-Offs in 2011 (logbook included). Additional prep was done in 2012 to bring the car current with T2 rules, but was not raced. Has seen track day duty for the past few years (pass. seat is stock with harness installed). This is a race car and the body is not perfect. (Never crashed - just some rubbing) Car looks better in the pictures than it does in person, but I'm very critical and it does show very well.

Details:

Current (original) mileage is ~6k

JRZ single adjustable struts

Hypercoil springs (550/500)

Whiteline sway bars & end links

41 mm turbo inlet restrictor

Custom brake ducts

OPM race seat

Removable steering wheel

HKS flat flange downpipe, 3" inch exhaust with Borla muffler

I have some additional spares that can be negotiated into a deal (additional wheels/tires, COBB programmer, and a few other misc. items).

Car is sold on a Bill of Sale and comes with the Certificate of Origin (this car has never been titled).

Lower asking price: $14k/obo

Will consider partial trades for race car/street car. I'd like to get this sold, so if the price is out of line, please let me know.

Car is currently located in Pickerington, Ohio (43147).

Curious, if the car has never been titled then can it be street legal?

Looks like the interior is stripped so I doubt it would make a very comfortable daily driver anyway but might be something important to note for potential buyers.

Goodluck with the sale.

Good question! Didn't think about that since the car was just used for racing. The car does come with the original certificate of origin from the dealer. I believe it can be titled and driven on the street with that document. I'll do more research to try and confirm.

The interior is intact with the exception of the front door panels and window glass. Making it a daily would be difficult with the cage, but driving it to events (SOLO, or track days) shouldn't be an issue. (Rougher ride and I'd recommend street tires for the street).

Generally speaking, and in the past, the original purchaser would need to convert the COO to a title at the title office. I am not certain if someone other than the original purchaser can convert it. A call to your local title office will clear that up.

Personally, I think it would be a great DD or summertime street toy.

I just had a chat (online) with the title agency/BMV. They told me the process to get it titled - Notarized bill of sale, MCO, and an out of state inspection. I'm going to see what I can do in the few weeks to get that done and get this thing titled to me. (who doesn't love paying sales tax on something they are selling! :) ) Sounds like that would make the sale easier.
