carl1647545492
Looking to lay some hardwood in a small bedroom 18 x 16 ft is it diy able for a first timer? Being the tight wad I am sure i,m going to cringe when the floor guy comes out and wants 3 grand to do it, seems like a job I could do for a lot less and have money to do the rest of the downstairs...thoughts? STEVE-O
Hardwood is a bit of a pita with level and gaps and expansion. It can be done if you have the tools and capability but with hard wood it's a job the pro knows a lot of tips and tricks to and there is a reason install is not cheap
Lauren
Laminate is much easier to lay but hardwood isn't difficult. What's the subfloor like?
