ericsarge Posted February 11, 2017 Report Share Posted February 11, 2017 Have a buddy that has an 07 rx8. Has 44k on it and has signs of seals going out. Hard start when warm, very low power, etc. He's looking for a shop that would do a 5.3 with a manual swap. Currently auto. He don't have to know how, and I don't have the shop space. Is there a shop around that does this kinda swap. I'd like to get quotes on if I provide the 5.3 and t56 and if it is supplied by the shop. Used is fine. Any other ideas, I'm open to suggestions. It would almost die as soon as it was put in drive and could barely get out of its own way. But, if you're like me, I never liked how I sat in an Fbody and hate the view out. I'm sure with enough time, you get used to it, but this guy may just prefer the RX8.
