Got a lot done today. Spent 3 hours cleaning the wiring harness and all the connections. Got the dash connections and ignition connections all done. The tail section requires the rear fender to be installed and I'm waiting on some bolts I ordered Saturday to come in.

I just ordered $100 worth of bolts and other things this weekend. I will keep this in mind. It's what I'm looking for. Thx for the pic.

I also have the header pipe with both cats if you want that. If you don't want it, I'm might cut it up and modify for a different bike.

I love the progress I am making on this bike. I got a lot done this weekend. got the throttle cables and the choke cable greased and hooked up. Wiring harness is almost done. Grips are on. Dash is on. All wiring connections have been greased. Rear fender is on, this is big bc it has a lot to do with getting the wiring harness complete. Should have it ready to fire up for the first time here in the next few months!!!!

Getting the rubber from the air.box over the carbs. If there was only 2 of them I could've got them without the ratchet strap. I had the ratchet strap attached to some tarp straps so I couldn't tighten it down too much and break something. I had some silicon lube on the air box rubber to help it on too. I would tighten the strap a few clicks and wiggle the box to help everything slide on. I was also using a scribe with a 90 degree end on it to help the rubber get started onto the carbs.

it will be running this fall.  i want to get it running and the carbs sync'd while it still a little warmer out.  It had a K&N drop in when i bought it but im not sure if the kid who put it in knew you had to re jet it if you wanted it to run right so im not sure if the original jets are in it.  i put an OEM filter in it since it has OEM exhaust.

Probably best you did that. You can find out the jetting easily tho, just pop out a main jet and look up the stock main jet size. It will be engraved on the jet. If it's higher than stock, someone has done a rejet....so pull them carbs back off and have a look-see!

well...  i hooked up the fuel line and it is coming ou the carbs so i need to look into that a lil deeper and see if its just a stuck float.  It was late and i was ready for bed and i reaked of fuel so i called it quits.  The other day i got the fuel sending unit out and the petcock off and all cleaned.  Here is the tank in its current state...
