Robochan
Looking to have 9 double hung windows replaced. Any recommendations on who to go to?
Zx2guy19
If you want convenience, go to someone like Simonton or Rossati. If you want affordability, go to Home Depot to order and have my amigo Francisco install them for you. He only takes cash, if you know what I mean. Mojoe
We did windows and doors from Menards and had a contractor put them in. Just paid for his labor.

street pilot
I've used Apco and Lowe's for basic vinyl windows. I'd use Apco again.
mmrmnhrm
Are you looking to replace the entire thing (which is what all the suggestions so far have been), or just the glass inside (the frame is fine, but the double- or triple-pane seal is broken)? TTQ B4U
We did Pella windows over 10 years ago and they are still like brand new. Excellent warranty and local Pella Direct Service if/when needed.
Richard Cranium
I did Simonton and had an independent contractor install them. I bought them through APCO. They can install the windows as well if you need a contractor.

Replacment. I have old aluminum windows and done seal or shut well.
Turbs3000
I'd agree with going with Francisco, he redid a roof and some cedar window trim for me and I was very happy with the process and cost and will use him again. While it is 'amigo' pricing he takes checks and has an actual company so it's not just a guy in a truck type of thing. APCO is a good alternative to only shopping at lowes/menards/home depot Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
