Forrest Gump 9
Hello all The PO of my car had the headlights clear-coated, and they are now starting to peel. Is there any easy way to remove the clear coat? Or just good old fashion elbow grease and sand paper? Thanks in advance
vonrottes
I'd say the best way to do it would be sand it. any chemicals that would remove the clear would probably melt the plastic.
TTQ B4U
Wet sand with 800, then 1500, 3000. Break out the buffer and the headlight polish I have and seal them up with a good UV Protectant. Hit me up, I can help. May take an hour or so depending. If we can pull them off that would be awesome. If it's a PIA I can do it on the car. I've done a number of restores.
