zeitgeist57
Not expecting you to know, Will...but can anyone tell me if the heads/Intake manifold would work on a 400ci on a 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V? I’ll do some research... EDIT: doesn’t look like it’s compatible with the 400. Thanks anyway.

zeitgeist57
Yup...easy googling shows that the aftermarket largely left the 400 alone. My era of Lincoln had either a 400/2bbl or a 460/4bbl...I got the decidedly NOT PERFORMANCE VERSION:lol: GLWS, Will!

I think we talked about this a while ago clay, the 400 shares an architecture with the ford 351M. 500hp: http://www.hotrod.com/articles/hrdp-0702-ford-400m-engine-build/ edlebrock makes a low rise 4bbl manifold: #2171. They come up used on ebay often enough for around $150 but the shipping is a killer. New they are almost $300.
zeitgeist57
Yup...realistically it would be a lot of work and $$$ under the hood of a land yacht that sees less than 500 miles a year and has to push around 4600 lbs sloooowly.
