This all came as a package that I bought and was going to build for my Thunderbird but I sold the Thunderbird and want this stuff gone.

$150 for the intake manifold

$150 for the transmission

Not expecting you to know, Will...but can anyone tell me if the heads/Intake manifold would work on a 400ci on a 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V?

 

I’ll do some research...

 

EDIT: doesn’t look like it’s compatible with the 400. Thanks anyway.

From what I know...Which isnt a whole lot about fords is this.

 

429-460 parts will not fit a 400 block. They are totally different animals.

Yup...easy googling shows that the aftermarket largely left the 400 alone. My era of Lincoln had either a 400/2bbl or a 460/4bbl...I got the decidedly NOT PERFORMANCE VERSION:lol:

I think we talked about this a while ago clay, the 400 shares an architecture with the ford 351M.

edlebrock makes a low rise 4bbl manifold: #2171. They come up used on ebay often enough for around $150 but the shipping is a killer. New they are almost $300.
