These cars are so cool when done up right. Love the first gen firebirds. Good luck with sale. I hope someone brings her back to life.

The Springfield swap meet is in a few weeks and it’s usually pretty big. If you have a trailer it might be worth a shot.

Also love the first gen Camaro/Firebirds as I had a friend that had a 69 Camaro. Had a lot of fun cruising and raising a lot of 7734. Post the price when you have a moment. Looks to be a lot of work with the floor pans, trunk lid, most likely a truck pan to say what I can see.

My childhood friend and I restored his 1967 firebird convertible in highschool, I love these cars. These are really easy cars to work on and almost every single thing is available for them (including a complete new body if needed, and a 1 piece firewall to rear seat floor pan).

Can you post a pic of the data tag? I am curious what the car left the factory as.

Oh well....that happens sometimes. For those considering the car, Pontiac historical Services can send a build sheet and the info for a replacement Data tag.

The vin identifies the car as a 1968 V8 sport coupe built at the Lordstown, Ohio plant. Given that it has the flat hood, no column shifter, and no hump trans tunnel I would guess it was a 326 ci automatic car originally. The perfect candidate for an LS swap hot rod or drag car.

Good luck with sale.
