Richard Cranium Posted April 3, 2019 Report Share Posted April 3, 2019 POSITION: Pre-Nursing Instructor POSTED: April 3, 2019 REPORTS TO: Director APPLICATION DEADLINE: Position open until filled STARTING DATE: August 12, 2019 QUALIFICATIONS: ● Candidate must have valid Ohio teaching certificate/license to teach Health Science (Course Code 070005). ● Minimum of RN, BSN, or higher preferred, plus 5 years of clinical experience in direct patient care and customer service (may include: Nursing Home, Specialty Care Center, Long-Term Care Center, Skilled Nursing Center, Rehabilitation Center, Major Surgical Center, or similar facilities). Extended care experience required. RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to Job Description 316, successful candidate will: ● Prepare and teach pre-nursing technologies to high school students at our Career Campus in Plain City, Ohio. ● Assist in supervision of students in clinical area and potential internship placement. ● Supervise student participation in career technical student organization (HOSA). ● Deliver College Credit Plus curriculum. SALARY & CONTRACT: Salary based on experience and credentials. 187 day contract first year for new teachers; 185 days in subsequent contracts.
