Johny Utah
I have a 03 Tundra with the 4.7. I have a Flowmaster super 40 on it now. I don’t like the drone inside the cab while driving. Would a magna flow or a borla pro Xs be better at keeping drone down in the cab?
Crossle
I have a 2005 Tundra 4.7 crew cab, I bought the Banks Power cat back and am incredibly pleased with it. No drone, good tone under load, not obnoxious at all under cold start. Single tip looks nice, fitment was on point.
Not Brian
Bought a Borla for my truck. There is zero drone, but it has fitment issues. One of the hangers is about 2" away from the rubber hanger. They're never getting my money again.
TurboRust
Magna flow all the way to eliminate drone. No personal experience to tundras but 3/4 personal performance cars
Johny Utah
I think I am going to get a magnaflow. I’m just getting a universal one. Should I keep the stock resonator on or cut it out?
Crossle
I think I am going to get a magnaflow. I’m just getting a universal one. Should I keep the stock resonator on or cut it out? I suppose if you’re just cutting stuff, just change the muffler and decide afterwards? Supposedly there is power to be gained with a straight through J-pipe. Johny Utah
I installed a magna flow universal muffler. It sounds good and there is no drone while at a steady speed. Much much better.
