It is a somewhat clone of the Stoner 63 which there are a few transferables floating around but those are $60k+. But the M96 is a sweet rifle, check Gunbroker.Here is one on gunbroker, price is about average for what I have been seeing.http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=130286833 ya they based the frame on the stoner , but it has had excellent reviews on at long range groupage etc. would like to get one , and get into some competition shooting. tired of old bland ar 15s , though its based on it , it is unique . with a few diferent calibers, going beyond the .223 . it has already hit collectors status , and the serials beginning with RA are a lil pricey.
