RC51 John
I have a friend that needs a new battery. If it fits can we put a Yuasa YTZ12S in place of a Yuasa YTZ10SOther than height the only differences are CCA(+20) and Amps(+0.2). ReconRat
If you have the height clearance, sure, it looks like it. It needs 11/16" more room above. Don't let it short out on anything, at the positive terminal, is all. Internetz says people switch to that one if they have the room for it. Disclaimer
If it fits... do it. The CCA is only what the battery is capable of, the resistance in the coil on your starter will determine how many amps flow through it - assuming the battery is still a 12V battery (which it is)

tomato_racing
This seems goofy but check the sides of polarity. Make sure the poles sit correct with the ones on the new battery, sometimes they are reversed.
