natedogg624
looking into these years for a friend (i believe there are two different models within those years, yes? sorry im a yamaha guy). any years he should stay away from or focus more on? problems to lookout/check for before he buys? anything noticeable on the pre-buy check or ride besides the basic things to look for? i read something about a weak trans? is that like a full transmission overhaul to fix or a few bits and pieces and its golden?street use only for now, considering track late next season. Uncle Punk
I have a 03 600 with close to 17,000 miles - zero issues. 03/04 and 05/06 are different bikes. I should know this but I'm sure 03/04 had both 600s and 636s. I don't remember when they dropped the 636s or if they had both 600s and 636s after 04. I know they had 636s after 04 I just can't remember if they had the 600rrs in 05/06. The 03/04 600RRs were the lightest 600 Kawasaki has made at 355lbs.
