I was seriously considering this BUT I need a bigger dog that can run some mileage with me when I do my longer runs later at night AND dog that would scare the crap out of people. I'm probably gonna get a doberman in the next 6 months or so. :)

sara, these dogs would work out great for you... labs are full of energy, and beagles aren't the quietest dogs they have a hell of a bark... I know because my beagle chases people away from the house, and my lab mix I have trained to chase down rabbits and flush birds, both great breeds.... would fully suit you IMO...

First.. "must.. resist.. puppy.. cuteness.."

Second.. Why in the holy mother fucking hell is your brother's dog not fixed?? This is extremely irresponsible behavior for a pet owner and I'd like to punch him in the nuts.

Third.. If he doesn't get rid of them send me a PM. I may have convinced myself by then.

Bob Barker?:nono:

I've been waiting for a comment like that. Why does an 18 y/o single girl get knocked up....I don't take care of my brother, he's 33. The dog lives on a farm with his grandma. I don't have an answer. I think she's getting fixed within the week though. I have pondered the question myself, but I prefer to look at the positive. They all seem to be extremely healthy, they're cute, and they're going to make wonderful pets for free for someone.

I will let you know if any are left.

I can only guess...My guess is 50lbs or so. The mother is only that big and the father definitely wasn't a lab...I'm hoping for about 35-40lbs.

:plus1: I would take one but I have three cats and we just rescued a kitten from our backyard. His brothers and sisters were eaten by foxes or that creepy deer outside my house. It was a massacre but the little guy is afraid of everything. The dog is no no for me. The thing is I love dogs and I wish these annoying cats would get out of the house. They are lazy and dumb.

I actually tend to agree...My beagle boxer mix I got a few months ago I go running with. He's about 32lb and can keep up, he's so high strung and has a mean bark if anyone he doesn't know comes to the door.

These guys are certainly going to be bigger I'm really expecting more around 50lbs, but as I said, really hoping for 40lbs. Labs are a protective breed and the other mix is definitely either beagle or rot, imo.

take them to cat welfare over off of indianola ave, they will find a good home for them... or the humane society...then you can have your pup.
