smashweights
Good idea? bad idea? i guess i'm just wondering how they age, if it's worth saving $200ish to get a pair that's lightly scuffed up. And anyone know what "Zipper on right foot will need to be re-set as it does not zip both sets of teeth together." might mean? my first thought was "just need to put the other zipper side back into the zipper unit, but that seems simple enough that the seller would just do it to avoid listing something like that.this would be my first set of riding boots as i'm trying to put together my track day setup. smashweights
nope, ebay auction. my concern about fitment would be from the standpoint of breaking them in personally vs. a pair that has already been broken in to someone else's foot. Likwid
eBay or CL I tend to only buy like new, if someone is selling AND has issues I tend to get worried. From someone I know, most bets off

smashweights
looks like the zipper is just off the opposite zipper track. otherwise they're pretty much like new minus a few scuffs that can probably be buffed out with some polish. how tough would that zipper be to get back on? TwiztedRabbit
i wouldnt get em unless you KNEW you could fix the zipper.. i know that on both my sets of boots the zipped would have to be completely removed then re-sewn in to be fixed.. there isnt enough room at the bottom to re zip it

20thGix
I bet any shoe repair place can fix that zipper if your heart is set on these. Call and see how much they could fix it for.
Zorro
I bought used boots..off ebay. There was nothing wrong with them upon purchase and have treated me well. I've wore them for my track days and on street rides. No issues. With that being said, you definitely need to get that zipper fixed. I'm guessing you could take them to a tailor or something like that.

hue jass
I just sold a pair of Sidi's that I only wore once in cool weather. The guy got a great deal. I'd say you want something with very low miles. If in doubt, take them to a shoe service place and have them totally cleaned inside and out. Should be fine.
