For those that would like to honor Zach Myers and others like him, here's info on the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial ceremony, Saturday 9/12/09. This is from AD Farrow's Facebook page.

It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Zach Myers, a member of the U.S. Army serving in Iraq. Zach, the son of Tonya Latto, a member of the A.D. Farrow Co. family who works in the parts department at NorthStar, died this week as a result of injuries suffered in a roadside bombing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Tonya and her family.

Please join us tomorrow as Pfc. Myers is honored at the Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial (just East of S.R. 3 on S.R. 37) tomorrow at 4:30 pm.

Guys the turn out was amazing! Not just for Zach but for all the others who have fallen. I do understand Zach and Shannon were two that brought a lot of people out. But we can not forget the others. IMO there were way TOOO many names called that were not present. I had chills through that whole part of the ceremony. Won't be able to make the meet and greet today parents are back in from Vacation so I will push this off but Does anyone want to set something up for Bike Night for weds with me?

Well I think I am just going to setup a fund for his daughter. It's seems like the road to travel with less resistance. I'll set up the bucket at Bike night tomorrow night. Then this weekend I'll figure out a good way to invest it for her. As for the gift card from Pig Iron, you can either give it to Zachs' parents or his wife. Unless someone wants to buy it from the donations. I'll talk to you more tomorrow night.

Good evening all!

What an honour it was today to meet some of Zach's family member and be part of the honour escort. It's so very humbling. The streets of Delaware were lined with men, women and children of all ages and all walks of life.

People along the route pulling over and showing their respect for a man who gave the ultimate for his country. It was by far the toughest ride I have ever done but worth ever moment.

After what I saw today, it really gives me hope that there are soooo many good people out there!!

More info on 10TV

Visitation is tomorrow and the funeral is Saturday.

Wanted to let all know that Specialist Zachary T. Myers has been laid to rest. His mission is complete.

I had my first PGR mission for him. It was a very humbling experience. 10tv was there and the roads to the cemetary were lined with people holding signs saying "Thank you Zach Myers for our freedom" Vets stood saluting him as we passed and little children waved their flags. The fire departments had the ladder trucks out with American flags across the roads. I am getting chills just thinking about it again.

God speed.
