smashweights
the leather on some of those abrasions looks like it's been worn pretty thin... especially around the seat

|SnOmAn|
Dude, go with a 2-piece fieldsheir from the Pony. I was looking a few weeks ago and they had them on sale for $350 but I know nothing of track as of right now, maybe one day.
Hoblick
i would, but they dont have my size at all. been there the last 3 days looking at suits
gixxie750
its all about the price! It is still safe looking. U never know what can happen in a crash so i cant say it will hold up to anything. Just so you know i have seen way way worse crash many more times. Just make sure the seams arent going to come apart.
Hoblick
whats a good price on this suit
natedogg624
i wouldn't pay more than 150-200 with the abrasions.
gixxie750
i'd say nate is close. "All" leathers are worth at least $200 if they are still intact. If u get a great deal on it u can send it out and have more leather added to the thin areas and seams double stitched again.

exSRAaron
yeah I'd agree, what model is that? I'd say under 300 bucks for sure. If you can get it for 175/200, go for it!
hue jass
Pros would say, "You want to get those seams re-done." Some would have to have some of the panels replaced. If the price is cheap, it wouldn't be a bad buy and I would say that suit could last a couple of seasons for you. If you get it, Wash it in the washer, cold, with 2 parts Tide and 1 part Vinegar. Let it spin dry, then lay it out. When it starts to get almost dry, apply some lanolin based lotion on it. Any brand will do. Yea, the kind of lotion for your hands. Just read Lanolin in the ingredients. That's how they do it at Barnicle Bills and they're a pro outfit.

APCh8r
That is the vector model, my buddy corey has that suit. It is a nice suit. Make sure to check all the stitching areas, especially in the shoulder, elbow, and seat of the suit. Hit up alexa from spyder works leather if you have any problems with it. She can do any repair you need and has great turn around time. She is well known in the WERA crowd.

A stars makes quality shit and all crashes are different. if your seriously concerned, you could send it back to astars for a "review".. they are good about support of their products.
