V4junkie
It does seem like BMW would be more likely to try and price it closer to the Busa price range much like they did with the S1000rr. They're definitely looking to steal sales away from the big four.

V4junkie
I'm assuming it could be a replacement for the K1300R. Doesn't seem like there would be room in the model range for both . . . then again BMW does make the K1300S, K1300R, and K1300R-Sport so who knows.NM I'm dumb, the press release specifically says it applies to the K-series model range. redkow97
did anyone see how much it's going to weigh? how is it going to put all that power down? anyone else think the single-sided swing arm might not make it to production? that much torque may necessitate a traditional swing-arm... Tpoppa
The CBX and the KZ1300 were both I6s. Neither were particularly popular.
Disclaimer
The KZ's don't have much of a following, but good luck proving CBX's weren't popular. They've got cult-like followers now.

Earache
.... Too bad the forks are the right way and not upside down. that was a mistakeNope - they ain't 'zactly forks. It's a paralever suspension. One of BMW's best features - no dive under hard braking and loads of adjustment and travel.
