No eggs, chicks. For food, hobby, just release, maybe get into dogs? I raised chickens before. They are dirty. If you want some good healthy birds you're going to need to decent flying pen to keep them in...$$$$. I'll ask my friend, he gets birds for less then $20 ea. I think last time we got some they were only in the $10-14 range and these birds were quick to get up and fly which is what you want.
