I have been looking for a high power rifle to play with for some time now and the 30-06 I want is out of my price range at the moment. I think it is more of a mid sized game round for deer and the like. Would do well for mid sized game and target shooting to 200+ yrds. Savage makes some pretty decent stuff from what i heard talking to smiths and gun shop guys. Say they have a good trigger with the accu-trigger.
