exSRAaron
Just interested in seeing what you guys think of the undertail exhausts, such as honda's RR, and the GP style exhaust now used on the new gixxers and yamahas...and ur thoughts on how each effect weigh distribution. Any input is welcome and appreciated! thanksAaron
Cleaner
to me the undertail looks a lot cleaner... But do what looks cool to you. And unless you're riding at Moto GP performance level you won't notice anything as far as weight and handling.
XB12Ss
Lower CG can't hurt...
exSRAaron
Lower CG can't hurt...thats what I've heard the undertail can hurt And I'm honesty not looking for "cool" i just want something original that not many others have... thomez
bad thing about dual pipes is that if you go down you are guaranteed to F one up ... lol an undertail seems pretty protected in a lowside.... that would be good overall I think the undertails look darn sexay
yotaman88210
The under tail is great just because of the fact that if alowside happends, you dont have to replace the pipes
Cleaner
Riding with bricks will also lower your CG... If you want your CG lowered, you shouldn't be doing it with a pipe. It should be done properly by lowering the bike and/or adjusting the suspension.
Benyen Soljax
The under tail is great just because of the fact that if alowside happends, you dont have to replace the pipes+1, youre probably not going to be able to push the bike far enough to notice the difference of CG. so i think the main difference would be looks and cost when you lowside. to me looks could be bad or good either way, so i like the fact that your exhaust is shielded when you wreck. John
i like the undertail look. i think it gives the whole bike a cleaner, more symmetric look.

F4iBunny
Personally, I think the undertail exhaust looks better. Can't help you with the performance part of the question. Can you tell this is a girl's opinion? LOL
mrbret
I prefer the undertail to.I'd lose a little performance to have a better looking exhaust, I huess thats why I still have my stock quad gold pipes & not a (boring) single sided single can. redkow97
I like the symetrical look as well, and the under-tail pipes seem like a no-brainer to me if it's purely for cosmetics. Frankly I can't believe it didn't happen a lot sooner. Maybe there's some aero reason for it when it comes to racing too, but I don't know.I've never had the pleasure of riding something equipped with an under the seat pipe. Is there any noticeable difference in temperature? what do passengers have to say about it? I assume that's one of those things engineers would address, but there have been bigger oversights before...
flounder
Undertail = sack soup cooker... or for the ladies, undertail = cookie oven, or clam baker. yeah thats right... Im a dick ..

MurderedCBR
+1 on the undertail...One of the main reasons i originally purchased my cbr was to eliminate or decrease any possibility of my passenger burning her leg or body parts on a side mounted exhaust...ALSO, the RR is just an all around Beautiful bike not 2 mention the undertail is SEXAY
