thegame Posted January 17, 2010 Report Share Posted January 17, 2010 bought a used 52" sony rear projection hdtv recently. looks good, but when i was playing xbox i noticed only on the left side, that the letters have like a shadow letter of red. so it looks kind of blurry but red. anyone know how to fix this? ID to join - they've got a "tweaks" file that shows how to set the convergence, and they have an owner's manual, in 2 or 3 parts, available for free download.I'd post up the tweaks file here but it doesn't work well in text mode. serpentracer Posted January 18, 2010 Report Share Posted January 18, 2010 (edited) samsung auto convergence for the win:Dlook in the tv's menu. if it's possible to adjust it will be in the menu somewhere.if not, you'll have to get it done by a repair man/woman..did you try here?,http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-documents.pl?mdl=KP51WS500ok it looks like it has a auto convergence. it's in the owners manual from the link above. pg 33. the button is on the front panel of the tv. it's called flash focus.
