<sigh> I really don't think banning texting is the answer. Changing CD's, messing with the radio, or eating a burger all interfere with your ability to drive just as much as texting, and we allow all those activities.

IMO texting is MUCH dangerous than eating a burger or changing the station. yes, they are all distractions, but when you are texting and driving, you arent looking at the road. you are pretty much driving blind.

studies show that txting drivers are more impaired than drunk drivers.

I have seen tests to confirm that.
