liveonone
Hey! Im 16 y/o and ride a 2005 crf 450x (everything is stock except full DRD exhaust). Im looking for any enduro races or events that I can participate in during this riding season. Im not looking for a club ride or any slow poke stuff (poker runs...etc). Any suggestions would greatly help!! ThanksAlex(I am experienced with a lot of riding time under my belt)

Whitey1
Check out Zanesville Trail Riders. Those boys will take you through some of the toughest stuff in Ohio and are a great group. www.zanesvilletrailriders.com/Also try this sitehttp://www.aces-races.com/You will want to get to get a street title and plate your bike. It is a fairly simple process to do and you can get an enduro kit with brake and turn signals and all switches and wire it up in an hour or two. This company has been very well spoken about for their kits. http://www.bajadesigns.com/NET/C-150/HONDA Edited April 29, 2010 by Whitey1

swingset
Any idea what insurance would look like?Typically a dual sport or plated dirt bike is the cheapest bike on the actuarial tables to insure.I pay $65 a year for my TTR (liability only). Of course, I'm not 16 either, so you'll pay more than I do but if you shop around it should be a very cheap bike to insure.
fox_racing_guy
Bring that 450X to the MX track, Jim Jarrett rides my local track ( Beans bike park) on his GNCC bike and usually puts on a clinic for the MX guys.
Moto-Brian
Bring that 450X to the MX track, Jim Jarrett rides my local track ( Beans bike park) on his GNCC bike and usually puts on a clinic for the MX guys. Seeing that's a KX450F and not a CRF450X, I'd hope he'd be suited to ride an MX track. An X and true off road bike like an enduro set machine is going to be less suited for any aggressive MX riding...A GNCC bike MAYBE.There's PLENTY of Enduro events. As stated above, Aces Enduro Series is a great place to go...
liveonone
Ok, I got to this site http://www.adrohio.org/ADR%20Flyer%20May%202010%20v2.pdf and it looks interesting. I have never been in a sanctioned race, so this would be my first. I noticed the different classes that were running and I'm not sure which one I qualify for. Any help? (thanks for the other replies)
