I agree! It seemed pretty torquey too. A few turns it seemed like he was having to roll on really soft to keep from breaking the backend loose. Great photos to the OP. Very talented!

Brake pads are cheaper and easier to change then clutch discs.

Perhaps a rider was unable to ride his beloved bike any longer due to a medical condition and decided that was the next best thing. I think it is cool if that is the case.
