First off, those of you who complain about my asking questions about my bar change, that's what this thread is about, too. kindly hit the back button on the top, left side of your screen. :)

I'm picking up my clutch cable and brake line today, and hope to have the bike back together by tonight. I've run into a part where it would be great to have another person to get the airbox back on the bike, because it's hard to get everything in there, with clamps and junk, while balancing the gas tank.

Craigslist has a mobile motorcycle mechanic listed. Has anyone ever used the guy? My girlfriend can't help, because she can't lift the gas tank, so she's not an option.

If you can wait until after 9PM I could give you a hand. I've got a bleed wrench and the hose to put on the valve nipple. You can do yourself a favor and go to IP and get yourself some speedbleeders and some dot5.1 brake fluid if your brakes support it. That's going to make bleeding everything out a lot easier.

holy innuendos batman!

this sounds like a sexual proposition if you don't know much about mechanics.

Dublin.

Cheech, I could wait until after 9:00 if you wanted to come help. Just be aware that my girlfriend doesn't live with me, so she won't be there in short shorts and a tank top.

I've already bought brake fluid and all that. DOT 4, though.

OK. Make sure you have plenty of rags and catch cans ready then. DOT 5.1 is paint safe.

I've got a gallon jug that caught when I took the brake line off the first time.

I'm going to Dayton to pick up my brake line now.

You riding or driving over? If driving, I'll get some more beer. I'm down to just 2 guiness and some weird shit.
