Aerik
So I'm finding that my giant monster laptop is a real pain to haul around when all I need is to sit and either surf the web or type on school assignments while I'm out and about. To that end, I'm interested in any used netbooks people have laying around-- cash, trade, whatever, I'm open to offers.
Benyen Soljax
I would sell you mine but I like it too much for traveling. I feel like you might have a hard time getting people to give them up
Aerik
I know, but I figured I'd try here before dealing with the genpop on craigslist. Eww, commonfolk.
Pedro
How much are you looking to spend? I know there are a few at Circuity city around the 300 buck and under range.

ReconRat
I checked Lenovo netbooks at Newegg last week, when news claimed iPad was putting a dent in netbook sales. All Lenovo netbooks are sold out and out of stock. I got one last November, I love it.

I have a fairly nice laptop I'm thinking of selling for cash to put toward it, so that might give me more range. How much were you thinking? Benyen Soljax
I wouldn't get rid of your main laptop unless you have something else to use. A netbook is annoying as a main computer, good for traveling and taking to class. Just my $.02.
Aerik
My main computer is the dual-monitored beast I'm typing on now. The other laptop I bought when I was on the road, and haven't used in a while now. It's heavy and irritating to take in a backpack, and the fan's too noisy to use during class. It's an Asus G1 'Gaming' rig, with lots of bells and whistles that I just don't need. I just want a netbook to type up papers between classes and maybe use the web. Benyen Soljax
Disregard my comment then, netbook would be good.

hollywood3586
just remember you get what you pay for, my toshiba is great for class use and everyday surfing, plus its only 13" its plenty big enough. Mine was around $425. Was the best deal at the time..
Aerik
Actually, went and got an Asus for about $300, and I've been happy with it. It's certainly slower than my other one, but fine for typing papers and lurking on here.
