This is an interesting discussion to me as I was a consultant for five years, and now I run an IT staffing company here in town. I have been in the IT staffing / IT consulting business for the past 18 years. Like any industry, there are great companies and ones that are not so good. Within a company, there are good offices and bad offices, and recruiters / sales people that are good and otherwise. Even within a generally good operation, execution issues happen, and candidates / clients are left with a bad impression.I have been asked a lot on how to work with staffing companies, as well as general advice on finding jobs.
