I want the full size but all I can find is the tactical with a short barrel. I found a Remington r-25 in the size I want. Problem is the Remingtons price is about $500 more. That's $500 that I would like to put towards a scope. I have been looking online and it appears the dpms and Remington are the same guns. I have been working a lot of over time at work to buy it. The majority of those looking at doing a .308, use the DPMS as their starting ground. I've heard rumors that the Armalites are problematic but thats not confirmed.
