idodishez
Opinions? Good? Bad? Indifferent?Last time I was there was about 30 years ago when I bought my first moped.middletown was 2 weeks behind and wouldnt let me schedule a date, telling me I had to leave it there the entite time. So, i took the zx10 in to vista for a fi light, under warranty. Just curious ofothers experience Edited June 14, 2010 by idodishez
Tigerpaw
I continuously have top notch parts sales, and service work!Everyone is extremely nice and knowledgeable.New bike prices seem high, and they didn't mention going any lower. NinjaNick
I always deal with Vista Kawasaki when needed. Great place.
idodishez
Thanks. Good to know. They called and said it was a bad exhaust butterfly actuator, which I suspected after a resistance test of my own. Lot quicker than middletown. One of the control riders at Putnam yesterday thought the ft brakes were very soft. Vista wrote it off as the known zx10 brake issues in that generation. No fix other than the stuff ive read on forums. (stainlesslines, etc)he did say I had a loose triple tree bearing. Is this a normal wear item, like adjusting wheel bearings? He tried to imply it was due to doing wheelies. I dont do wheelies.
NinjaNick
I never heard of that until just now. Stainless lines KICK ASS! I utilize those. Galfer.
palandor
I don't care much for Vista Kawi sales (which includes -anything- sold at their cash register counter), but their service folks are very friendly. However, everything they sell and everything they do is much more expensive than other area places; I have yet to find something close in price to elsewhere.I had a tire change (off bike) done at both Vista and at Clinton County Motorsports and CCM was quicker and cheaper ($38 vs $25 per wheel off bike). I try to use CCM when I can. Vista also doesn't seem to carry much and their order process takes longer than CCM.Never been to Middletown shops, so I don't have any thoughts about them.-b
NinjaNick
Yeah, I just use their shop and buy oil there.
