Strictly Street
WTB - Old Skool KZ coils or parts. (1980's)The brain trust that owned the bike before me put new very cool yellow spark plug wires on the bike. But then the screw on caps that hold them into the coil wouldn't fit so he made it work with less parts.Every so often I loose my ignition. I've tried silicone sealer and a couple of other little tricks but in the end the wires work themselves out again. So if anybody has some old screw caps for coils laying about shoot me a PM.Or if anybody has some 3 ohm dual output coils with some other way of keeping the wires attached that would work too!Yes, Rice Paddy wants a lot of $$ for a couple of .35 cent parts.Dyna coils look nice till you get to the price tag. ReconRat
I fixed my old bike with NAPA parts. But the coils, that's another story.I bet it's not so much the plug caps, but the wire that it screws into is worn out. I replaced the wires and the caps. But not all wires come off the coils, some are molded into the body of the coil. That's a problem.
