fizzer Posted November 17, 2010 Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 Just saw this today http://www.bmw-motorrad.com/6cylinderI know I'm a little behind, and forgive me if this is a repost...What are people's thoughts on the use of a transverse mounted inline 6? It seems like more of a "look what we tried" than a reasonable improvement to me, but I'm sure there are some who would argue the extra torque vs. the k1300gt is welcome(probably people with more money than me). I've been lucky enough to check out a friend's old cbx1000 six cylinder and it's just interesting to see that in 30-odd years a company is just now finally returning to the idea.
