jonni black Posted November 18, 2010 Report Share Posted November 18, 2010 hello alli recently picked up a 2005 honda rebel 250 for dirt cheap as a winter project for my wife. the previous owner left the valve cap off and it allowed water to get into the engine. rusting the internal components and seizing the motor. rather than trying to rebuild the motor i think it would be easier if i could find one used this winter and just swap them. i have called several motorcycle salvage yards with little to no luck. found a few older motors that would work but shipping a motor is quite expensive.i was curious if anyone on OR knew of a motorcycle salvage yard in the ohio area that may have what i am looking for, and would be able to pick up rather than paying $200 shipping.thanks in advance for your help~jb Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
