Good wood very few dings or scratches, blueing isn't that bad, there is a couple of scratches around the screws on the left side receiver, a 2" scratch and a 5/16 inch round rub mark on the barrel. I tried to get the bad marks in the pictures. max power Posted December 7, 2010 Report Share Posted December 7, 2010 Awesome shotgun. I inherited the 12 ga. 1970 model from my dad. My favorite shotgun by far. I have an 870 and prefer the Ithaca. The closest thing I have found to a slug barrel in the last two months has been a 24" skeet barrel for $250.I bought this thinking the kid would like it but I guess he really took to my Remington.
