Gump
I could see how the lower barrel configuration would reduce muzzle flip.http://www.chiappafirearms.com/products/75http://gunsforsale.com/ghg/2009/09/25/chiappa-firearms-rhino-new-revolver-with-a-twist/
C-bus
I could see how the lower barrel configuration would reduce muzzle flip.http://www.chiappafirearms.com/products/75 That certainly is an interesting look. I'm not too quick to say "ugly" though. Interesting. I wonder what they'll MSRP for? Edited January 23, 2011 by C-bus toooooo

jporter12
The barrel height of the M&P vs some of the others (I've been looking at the XD's) is supposed to help with muzzle flip, although they're nowhere near as radical as these! Gump
I never knew they existed till about an hour ago. The flat cylinder was my idea darn it. I missed the patent.I kinda like them. Not sure about Chiappa in general though.

Gump
Intersting..No wonder they didn't sell too many of them. It looks screwy. Maybe the conceal gun rush will prompt more sales of the Rhino.
jagr
I've seen ads for them in a couple gun mags. I like the design.
chevysoldier
I've seen the lower barrels before but wondered why they haven't caught on more, the premise makes a lot of sense. I have never shot one with that configuration so I am curious how much it helps and if it is a big difference from firing a traditionally placed barrel. jblosser
I watched a video of this gun the other day, and the shooter stated (and it looked like) that the gun has very little recoil shooting .357 Magnum rounds.I'm normally a "function before fashion" kind of guy (as anyone who has seen my attire will attest...), but this thing is just fugly. Maybe it's the extremely cheap-looking wood grips, maybe the oddly-shaped frame; I dunno, it's just homely.
