Anyone using these????????? I want to try using one of these

for some online stuff since I recently lost the ability to use paypal

and am torn between which one is better.

The one winning so far is NetSpend because I believe it allows

user-to-user money transfers between netspend accounts.

Anyone have any experience with either of these?

i use a green dot for all of my online purchases. been doing so for about two years now. dont have any complaints. refill is as easy as a trip to walmart, cvs, kroger etc.

had an issue with my CC's numbers being compromised a few years ago. i will never again use my debt card info or cc for any sort of online purchase.

this is the story I want to hear. :)

Paypal dropped the big ban hammer on me. :ban:

I'm surprised my ebay account still works since eBay owns paypal.

I am PERMANENTLY banned from EVER again using paypal or any of it's services.

What happens with the monthly fee if you don't have any money on the card?

Not sure if this helps, but I use accountnow. And i had my tax return deposited into it. It costs me 3.00$ to withdraw any money. And there's a withdraw limit of 300$. Using it as a cc, works fine and is free. There's a 10.00 fee each month. And when my return was deposited, they took it immediately.

As far as when there's no money in it, i don't know what happens. I'm getting all my money out and cancelling it.

There's a 10.00 fee each month.

I think greendot and netspend are both $4.95 or $5.95 a month fee.

I just checked at Walmart tonight, the Walmart prepaid visa is $3 a month.

But like I mentioned, the Netspend appears to be the only one that allows

users to transfer money back and forth, so I may pick up one and try it out.

I don't know...they linked to the OR thread so I'd assume they found out by it. Of course Swinger can tell us more.

The comments left with the transfers were the tipoff, they must have

then traced the "referring page" back to OR, then I imagine it was pretty simple to find I guess.
