NinjaNick
Yes, his drag map ( at least what I've seen ) specifies no air filter and race fuel -- tried mine out ONCE, but I'm affeared of running long without an air filter and only had hi-test pump gas in it - definitely picked up the power a little bit but I could smell fuel when I'd wot it.I dig the setup I've got, as is......Steetmeg sounds good imo, and the bike pulls GREAT thru the rev's - even with my flies still in Yeah, that no filter/race gas with his map I can see that now. Yeah, i love my setup now and only way to get more is NOS, turbo, or a build. I'm heading towards NOS next season.

NinjaNick
A buddy at work use to have a SV1000 and he was always in a wheelie taking off...he loved the torque of his SV.
2talltim
The biggest advantage to a V2 i more torque on the low end dont have to wind it up...but on the high side you i4 guys leave me in your dust
Helmutt
Just stick to tighter streets with more corners so we can't get past 7k and you'll hang just fine :D:D

Helmutt
Be damn sweet to see Yamaha stuff that Warrior 1700 twin in a sport chassis!! Can't even phathom that much torque in a sportbike that weighs about half of what the Warrior's scaling in at......definitely be one hell of a wheelie monster!!! 2talltim
Isn't that kinda what a V-max is?
Helmutt
Vmax is 1200cc V4.......Warrior is 1700cc V2But neither can corner in comparison to sportbikes
2talltim
I think the 08 and up they have been putting the 1700 in them...but your right they would still be a way heavy bike
2talltim
I just looked it up(it was diving me nuts)It is a 1700cc ..200HP@9000rpm...123lbs of torque at 6500rpm..and it weighs 683lbs..for a 2010 model...just bad ass..oh yea and a $20k price tag
Helmutt
Wow, a good move on their part - I havent followed VMax since the redesign but that sounds like some sweet power for a lightweight sportbike, especially after some regearing in the trans and drivetrain!
