Tpoppa Posted May 31, 2011 Report Share Posted May 31, 2011 If you think 556 is rough, then you'll want to avoid 536 this season. Lots of sections of tar that cover the entire lane. LINK Posted June 1, 2011 Report Share Posted June 1, 2011 As I mentioned in another thread, most of the roads I road in SE Ohio seemed real sketchy in many spots to me.I too thought it was just me, but I guess others will agree that the road conditions down there are not the greatest so far this year.Regardless I still ride like a pussy on good roads, or bad roads... Everyone should just stay the hell away..I hear metro parks are in nice condition.I'm being sarky. I thought 556 was pretty good on Sunday. Mind you I had my eyes squeezed shut most of the time. drc32-0 Posted June 1, 2011 Report Share Posted June 1, 2011 I rode 536 last Sunday.After riding 255,260,537 and 26,536 was pretty disappointing.They ground down the speed bumps(drainage pipes) and covered them with tar.It's like someone is sitting in a room somewhere thinking,"What else can I do to this road to ruin it for bikes."When they first paved 536 back in 2006 it was a great ride.Thank God we still have 255/260,it's a very good replacement for the old 556/536 ride.
