For the record, even as a special forces records clerk, I didn't get to wear a green beret. Earned, not issued...(edit: besides, I like soft cap. I even liked to wear a US Marine soft cap just to piss people off...)note: soft cap = cover, that's what they called them. I know, it's a hat...
