TenTwelve
I had my new (to me) ski in the water yesterday for the first time and this is also the first one I've owned myself. My only issue with it is that my hands were aching like crazy after like 30 minutes. I never had this issue on friend's skis in the past. Can you recommend me a cushy hand grip to replace the stones on my bars now?
Casper
Never had that problem, so not sure what to recommend. Factory grips have always been fine. What's the ski?
Bad324
Go get the jet ski/water ski gloves. My hands used to cramp REALLY bad on the jet skis until I got these gloves. Make a world of difference
Wicked1
hit the gym- or start to do hand exercises.
Bad324
hit the gym- or start to do hand exercises.i don't really think that will make a big difference. I've never had the issue riding any of my motorcycles but for some reason on the 3 different jet skis I've been using over the last 10 years they all cramp me up

shadyone
its the thumb throttle thats so hard on your hands. doesn't really compare to a motorcycle.
madcat6183
Yeah this is totally normal from stuff like that. RC51, Vtwins, if you have thin grips, will put your hand to sleep all the time on the highway, plus be very boring. Happens to me anytime Im on a cruise ride or something boring. Also with my commercial mower when I mow my lawn. It has grips and handles and they hurt for 30 mins after. Some of it I am sure is arthuritus, along with not wearing gloves. flounder
Combo of standing and the thumb/finger throttle. Not to mention the colder temps of the water which cause the cramping and stiffness.
